Kenzie & Derrick | Southern Bleachery Wedding | Greenville Wedding Photographer

I know I said it a few weeks ago when I shared my last wedding, but I’m saying it again!! I love being a Greenville Wedding Photographer!!  The multitude of wedding venues in Greenville just makes me so happy!!  I kicked off April documenting a wedding at Southern Bleachery!!  This was my fourth time at this venue in a little over a month and every single time I go there I get more and more excited!!  When Kenzie & Derrick first contacted me about being their wedding photographer and they told me about Southern Bleachery it was the first time I’d heard of it but as soon as I saw photos of it I couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding day there!!  I photographed their engagement session back in the fall and Kenzie’s bridals back in February and I have soo enjoyed getting to know the two of them!!

April 1st was BEAUTIFUL!!! We had blue skies, mild weather, and it was the perfect day to get married!!  Watching both Kenzie & Derrick arrive at Southern Bleachery was so fun and y’all they were so calm and just ready to become husband and wife!  They each were surrounded by their family and friends and I was made to feel as if I was just part of it!  We chatted about the last minute wedding details, their new puppy (that happens to be a golden doodle just like ours), Derrick spilled the beans on where they were heading on their honeymoon (and of course I kept the secret from Kenzie), and I then had the honor of documenting Derrick seeing his bride for the first time as she walked down the aisle.  I can say with 99% certainty that I think there were some tears shed when he saw Kenzie for the first time and of course it made me cry!!  The love these two have for one another shows with every glance, hug, kiss and look… so much so that they kept darting their eyes away from one another during the ceremony so they wouldn’t start crying.  Their love for one another and for those that surrounded them on their wedding day is contagious.  I love being a wedding photographer for just that reason alone.  I get to see & feel love in so many different ways…. and then I get to document it!!  Kenzie & Derrick, thank y’all so much for wanting me to be your wedding photographer!!
