One of my last weddings in May took place in downtown Greenville at the Huguenot Loft!! Y’all it was the PERFECT day!! After having these two in front of my camera a few times over the last 12 months I was more than looking forward to their wedding day. They both got ready at Embassy Suites down by the River and y’all I can’t tell you how much I loved those simple and natural lit rooms!!! If you are getting married (and it doesn’t matter who you have as your photographer)… I strongly encourage you to get ready in a space that is open, has LOTS of natural light and has neutral colors for walls, furniture, etc… Alright I digressed 🙂 but that’s how much I believe in a great getting ready space for BOTH the bride & groom!! I loved watching Abby & Ben interact with their family & friends prior to the ceremony. The worship music, the prayers, the laughter, the hugs, the amount of love & support that surrounded these two all day is something I will never forget. Abby & Ben were SOOO stinking excited to see one another and get married!! Y’all the moment Ben laid eyes on his bride was precious!! I have cried every time I have flipped through their images!!! The way they looked at one another as Abby walked down the aisle was priceless and then you had Abby’s dad just staring at his daughter with so much admiration… yep you can say this ceremony had me crying and the actual ceremony hadn’t even started yet!! These two smiled the whole time… even while worshiping during the ceremony they were smiling and then the smiles became even bigger as they kissed and were declared husband & wife!!! Picking images for this post was beyond difficult!! We had a nice big chunk of time for photos after the ceremony… which means I had a lot of images to pick from and y’all that was hard!!! I think that’s the hardest part about writing a post is picking the images I am going to share. I hope you all enjoy the ones I did choose!! Ben & Abby are pretty remarkable and to see how they honor God, how much they love each other, and how much they adore their friends & family… well let’s just say it was an honor to play a tiny role on their wedding day. I can not wait to see what God has in store for these two and their marriage. Here are a just a “few” of their wedding day images!!!
